Statutory long-term care insurance
Many people are in need of support when they get older. Statutory long-term care insurance covers part of these costs should you ever find yourself being dependent on the help of other people.
Contributions to the statutory long-term care insurance fund are also paid by you and your employer (50:50). If you are above a certain minimum age and do not have children, you must pay an additional contribution. This amount is paid solely by you.
